At the seaside the beach is a mixture of sand, pebbles and fascinating rocky shore, which at low tide extends into large areas of firm clean sand. There are also a number of other secluded bays and rock pools within a short walk of the village.Combe Martin is an ideal base to explore all of North Devon, whatever your pursuits or interests may be. This charming seaside village is in an area of outstanding natural beauty along the Heritage Coast of North Devon, on the edge of Exmoor. Directly on 'The South West Coast Path' and famous Tarka Trail we are ideal for walking holidays, horse riding or just sight seeing. You will find the views along the coastal path are amongst the most breathtaking that you will ever experience. There is also an abundance of wildlife with quaint hamlets and villages nearby.

Also included in the surrounding area is Barnstaple, Britain’s oldest borough with Pannier market and Queens Theatre, Ilfracombe which has the Landmark Theatre, famous tunnels and Harbourside, the villages of Lynton and Lynmouth and at the top of Combe Martin, a must see is the Combe Martin Dinosaur & Wildlife Park.
